The peace she feels within her Spirit, she knows doesn’t come from her. It comes from Him. And yet, she carries the gift so well. She has her Father’s glow. It’s within her. It radiates in everything she does in fulfillment of His purpose. She embodies the characteristics of the Holy Spirit as best she can. And though she’s a daughter of the highest king, she maintains the humble heart of a servant.

She’s unlike anyone I’ve ever known. And believe me, I’ve searched. I’m grateful to know her this intimately at all. She’s right. There is so much beauty in this world and within her. One day, the right man will open his eyes and see it.

You wouldn’t believe the things this woman has been through, the trials she’s stood and overcome. She was meant to be victorious over each of them. Her Father protects her. So, truly, who amongst us could ever prevail against her?

I watch her closely, and no matter how many things try to break her, she gets back up, as though she’s never been hurt before at all. Even in process of healing, she does not stop trying to extend love, grace or forgiveness to others. Miraculously, her hope only seems to expand. Her resilience is amazes me every single time. She’s still learning to give that same love, grace and forgiveness to herself, and I’ve got a strong feeling that once she does, she’ll be unstoppable.

There’s so much she has to look forward to, and I’m excited to see the rest of her story unfold. I’ve got my popcorn ready, and my focus fixed ahead of me, in anticipation of what’s to come. I don’t take the front-row seat I have for granted. I’m just grateful to be here, in such close proximity to her.

The way she chooses to process the trauma of her past, embrace the beauty of her present and focus on the promise of her future is an important part of her journey. Her Spirit always finds its way back to joy every time it’s been crushed beneath the harshness of this world. This combination of mind, body and Spirit is her Father’s design.

I have watched her grow, learn and love with everything she has to give, even when life is hard. Even when the lessons take multiple tries to learn. Even when love is unrequited and not given with the same authenticity in return, she perseveres. I love her for that.

I’ll love her always. Because she, is me. ♥
